Following Friday’s release of his debut LP 99.9%, Montreal’s KAYTRANADA is back today to share the video for album highlight “LITE SPOTS”. The clip, which was directed by Martin C Pariseau, produced by Evren Boisjoli, Romeo & Fils with the assistance of MuchFACT, finds KAYTRANADA creating a new robotic friend with unlikely skills. While the two dance their way across town over the course of the day, viewers get insight into the personality of KAYTRANADA.

The clip’s release also comes on the heels of KAYTRANADA launching his world tour last week. Tonight he continues his run of Europe before returning to North America for a jaunt of headlining dates.

In anticipation of the release of his forthcoming ‘Let’s Jam 1’ and ‘Let’s Jam 2’ EPs, Zomby has today revealed the first full piece of music from the releases.

‘Let’s Jam 1’ and ‘Let’s Jam 2’ are Zomby’s debut recordings for XL Recordings. The two musically distinct individual bodies of work see the London-based artist returning to his roots making instinctive, enigmatic, club-focused music. The music was in part recorded on new hardware and software at XL’s west London studios and in part on the fly in Zomby’s own environment.

Available digitally and on 12” vinyl, the EPs will be released simultaneously on 9th October

The show – along with a newly announced gig at Bournemouth’s O2 Academy – follows a fully sold out UK tour through February and March. The band have also been confirmed to perform at this year’s Coachella festival, as well as Primavera, Ibiza Rocks, Bestival, Croatia Rocks, T In The Park, Rock en Seine and the Secret Garden Party, with more festival dates to be announced soon.
