Teasing ahead to their brand new album Starfire (released 1st June 2015 via Ninja Tune) Norwegian octet Jaga Jazzist drop a stellar ‘Oban’ rework from friend and fellow countryman Todd Terje (Olsen Records). As expected, Mr Terje smashes it out of the park, turning in a smouldering heater of epic proportions. Cop all 9 minutes of it on lovely transparent 12″ wax on 25th May 2015 (remix out digitally now).
Norwegian disco god Todd Terje has shared this animated video for “Alfonso Muskedunder”, made with love by Bendik Kaltenborn and Espen Friberg. “Alfonso Muskedunder” (a nickname of Terje’s newborn son Alf), is taken from his debut 2014 LP “It’s Album Time”.

New York-based producer and DJ Justin Van Der Volgen recently dropped not one, but two great disco remixes of Todd Terje‘s hit-singles “Inspector Norse” and “Strandbar”, both taken from last year’s debut LP “It’s Album Time”. The remixes are out now on vinyl through Justin’s own My Rules imprint and digital through Terje’s own Olsen Records.

Hot Chip are back with their brand new “potted pop melodrama” single “Dark & Stormy”, their first original material since 2012 album “In Our Heads”. The single will arrive on 10″ via Domino, backed with a new version of “Look At Where We Are”, featuring Tori and Reiko Kudo from Japanese collective Maher Shalal Hash Baz. It will also feature some previously circulated remixes from In Our Heads. Dan Snaith’s Daphni project has remixed ‘Night And Day’, Scandi-disco dude Todd Terje offers his edit of ‘How Do You Do’, and Major Lazer have reworked ‘Look At Where We Are’.
