Submotion Orchestra – Trust/Lust

Following on from the huge success of ‘City Lights‘ and their summer tour of over a dozen festivals Submotion Orchestra, the Leeds based 7-piece live electronica outfit, return with ‘Trust / Lust’, the second single to be taken from their forthcoming album ‘Alium’ (release date November 24th 2014).

One of the album’s many highlights, ‘Trust / Lust’, set for release on November 17th 2014 sees the band in fine form, singer Ruby Wood’s heartbreaking vocals perfectly backed by the band’s soulful electronica. The band have also just put together a brand new DJ mix for i-D magazine’s ‘Slumber Sessions’ series and that is streaming on Soundcloud too.

Submotion Orchestra will be back on the road later year and have just announced a 20-date UK and European tour, including dates in France, Germany, The Netherlands and a headline show at The Forum in London. Pre-Order ‘Alium’ on iTunes –

Submotion Orchestra – Time Will Wait

Submotion Orchestra, the Leeds based 7-piece live electronica outfit, return on August 11th 2014 with a brand new AA single, Time Will Wait/City Lights, two new tracks that show exactly why the band are regarded as one of the most exciting electronic acts working in the UK today.

A bruising slice of 21st century soul, Time Will Wait sees Ruby Wood’s aching vocals float above the band’s atmospheric sonics, whilst City Lights is late night urban pop at its finest, all scattershot garage beats and dreamy synths building up to an irresistibly uplifting chorus.
