Australia’s Movement have revealed an incredible version of ‘My Song 5’ by rock goddesses HAIM. Led by frontman Lewis Wade’s sultry vocals and the band’s trademark production the track is transformed into a hauntingly seductive downtempo RnB jam. Available for free download below.
Movement are also thrilled to announce that they have been nominated for the Best Dance Video at this year’s prestigious UKVMA’s. The video for lead EP track ‘Ivory’ is in the international category alongside the likes of Hercules & Lover Affair and Vic Mensa. The announcement comes alongside news that the band are set to support Banks on her upcoming North American tour. An intimate run of November headline shows have also been announced for the UK and Europe.
Movement’s debut, self-titled EP is now out worldwide via Modular Recordings, digitally includes ‘Like Lust’ and ‘Us’, and is available digitally here and on limited vinyl here. Up-and-rising Sydney-based electronic trio Movement return with a new single “Us”, a great, darkly tune. You can now watch the cool video for the track, directed by Dave Ma (also responsible for Flight Facilities’ “Clair De Lune”). The single is out now via Modular, complete with remixes by Giraffage and Kowton.
