Keep Shelly In Athens – Now I’m Ready (Loframes Remix)
Keep Shelly In Athens second album, ‘Now I’m Ready‘, is a shimmering collection of beautiful pop songs, dusted with a light coating of sunshine, magic and unicorn tears. Now the album’s title track has been handed over to up & coming Anglo-French duo Loframes, themselves riding high off the back of their recent Hype Machine topping remix of Miami Horror.
Eschewing their more recent dancefloor focused production Loframes take their cue from the original, keep things nice and easy, put Ocean Hope’s blissed out vocals front and centre and deliver a laid back slice of synthpop perfection.
No. 16: Keep Shelly in Athens – Now I’m Ready
“Not your typical indie effort, un-beholden to tempo and style, the album skips across genre tropes with ease, each track guided by producer RΠЯ’s singular aesthetic and vocalist Myrtha’s unmistakable crescendos.”
