Video: Neneh Cherry – Everything

After a hiatus of 18 years Neneh Cherry released her 4th solo album ‘Blank Project’ in Feb 2014 to a chorus of praise for her creative reinvention. ‘Everything’ is the second single from that album, released early June around her much anticipated UK festival performances at Field Day, Love Saves The Day and James Lavelle’s Meltdown.

The single is accompanied by a video from legendary fashion photographer and music video maker Jean Baptiste Mondino. One continuous in camera shot made in Paris, it is more iconic image making from Neneh and Mondino. They collaborated on 4 videos before, including 1989’s ‘Manchild’ and 1993’s ‘Buddy X’.

The 7-minute new single ‘Everything’ is a reminder of why ‘Blank Project’ was hailed as a creative reinvention and a jolting reminder of Neneh’s counter-cultural origins.

Video: Sébastien Tellier – L’amour naissant

Great news! Sébastien Tellier is back with a new album, “Confection,” on Record Makers, which follows 2012’s “My God Is Blue”. Here’s the video for the album’s amazing first single “L’amour naissant”, starring Anna Mouglalis and Clément Chabernaud.

The label describes his new album as a “love letter for a film that doesn’t exist yet.” Apart from one song, “Confection” is an entirely instrumental piece that Sébastien conceived like a motion picture score. Several romantic musical themes are showcased in different versions, orchestral or acoustic.

Video directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino. “Confection” is out October 14 in France and November 8 worldwide via Records Makers. The single “L’amour naissant” is out now.
