New York synth-pop duo Phantogram is on the road this summer supporting their recent Republic Records release “Voices”, which was called “an epochal album, a generational capstone that will reside in playlists for a generation to come” by The Associated Press.
Recorded in Los Angeles with co-producer John Hill (Santigold, MIA), “Voices” follows up the group’s celebrated full-length debut Eyelid Movies [2010, Barsuk] and Nightlife EP [2011, Barsuk], which established them as one of music’s most intriguing indie outfits. Soon, the likes of The Flaming Lips and Big Boi [Outkast] began seeking them out for studio collaborations. Republic Records also recognized their spirit and joined forces with them in 2013.
Below, you can stream a beautiful remix of Voices standout track “Black Out Days”, by synth-pop act Future Islands. Check out http://www.phantogram.com/tour/ for a full list of upcoming tour dates and when the band is near you!
