Kidnap Kid recently launched his new label Birds That Fly with the anthemic Moments EP, clocking up over a million plays in the past month and reaching #2 on Hypemachine.
Featuring 20 year old BBC Introducing star Leo Stannard (Black Butter), the track now sees a rework from Norwegian star Finnebassen.
Catapulted to fame by releases on Noir music, Finnebassen has since been asked to remix for Parachute Youth on Warner and become a regular on BBC Radio 1 playlists.
Norwegian newcomer Gundelach’s debut single comes in the form of the the soulful Spiders. Fans of Movement take note, Gundelach makes music in a similar vein. With his debut EP being released early next year we are now treated to an exclusive bit of remix action from the project.
Fellow Nordic resident Finnebassen takes the track and injects an extra layer of drums and soft synth pads to craft together beautiful piece of late night melancholy. Check it out:
Stay tuned for more news on the EP out early 2016.
One of the biggest household names of electronic music in Europe, Oslo-based Finnebassen will drop his debut release on Poesie Musik. He delivers two more fantastic pieces of his unique “melancholic house” sound. First up is a ‘Villa’, a cool number with a dark and dreamy vibe that remains very serious and heavy thanks to the rigid bass line used. ‘Blå’ turns up the energy with a more upbeat ambience while keeping the atmosphere in line with ‘Villa’ due to its deep lines and pulsing bass. The two tracks form a solid EP created for the late night dance floor & those looking for a bit of dirt in their house. Get it here.
