Busy P returns to Ed Banger records for his 6th release on the label as he partners up with long-time friend, Mayer Hawthorne. A groove laden and infectious love song, ‘Genie’ provides a seamless sonic remedy to combat the hate and madness across the world.

The Arnaud Deroudilhe directed visual follows a beautiful young heroine, sleep walking through the streets of Kiev and dreaming her colourful journey to and through the club. The result is a surreal visual that alternates between dream and reality.

Almost 2 years after his last release on the label with ‘Gipsy Life’, this hotly anticipated track was recorded between Threesome Studio in Paris and Mayer’s studio in LA. Upcoming remixes from some of the UK’s finest producers including KDA and Joe Goddard, newcomer Reckonwrong and experimentalist Flow Machines, provide further impetus to deem this one of the most exciting releases of the year so far.
