Hot off a remix of “We Are Your Receiver” by Autograf, Klangstof is now releasing their  latest single, “Hostage,” remixed by Sasha.

Dance music aficionado Sasha puts his fingerprints all over Klangstof’s newest single ‘Hostage.’ The crafty veteran delivers an absolute cooker with his remix that features trippy sonics, impeccable instrumentation, a rolling groove and the original’s entrancing vocals.

Both Sasha and Klangstof can be seen live this month at Coachella Music Festival. Klangstof will also be touring with The Flaming Lips and Miike Snow – tour dates HERE.

Creating beautifully crafted, melodic and soulful electronic music since 2012, OLSEN gained a significant following after releasing his debut LP, Totoro, via Super Recordings (Randomer, Raffertie, Bondax, Honne) and also through his Manchester residency, playing alongside the likes of Floating Points, Levon Vincent and Jeremy Underground.

OLSEN is currently gearing up for 2017 with a set of new recordings on the horizon along with future edits and remixes in the pipeline.

Luc – Stay Out Of Trouble (Kings of Convenience)

Luc [Luke] – A partnership between people based on a shared perspective; often signifying a break from tradition.

Our take on the song by the Kings of Convenience. We love to take a great song and make it our own. With new chords and a newer, more electronic palette of sounds, we’re excited to finally put this one out into the world for you all to hear.

DJ Shadow – Midnight In A Perfect World (Ben Gomori’s Utopian Edit)

gomori

Here’s Ben Gomori’s Utopian Edit of DJ Shadow’s Midnight In A Perfect World. Premiered on his guest mix on John Digweed’s Transitions show this week and being given away as a free download via Data Transmission.

Unofficial edit. I made this last month after having had the bones of it sitting there for about 15 months, finished it and then found out that by chance Shadow’s 20th anniversary re-issue of ‘Entroducing’ just happens to be out this month, so felt like good timing to finally get it out there. Hope you like it.

LEØ – Us

Processed with VSCO with p5 preset

Brisbane three-piece LEØ drop the first single ‘Us’ off their upcoming debut EP ‘Young’, exploring electronic sounds and looking inwardly on past relationships.

The band’s vocalist and guitarist Chloe Pilkington offers her saccharine vocals while the rest of the band anchor the track with steady, pulsating drum and synth loops. Pilkington’s vocals hang softly in a falsetto but her emotional vulnerability adds a pleasant depth. The track also heralds a new sound for the band, as they explore their original sound in an electronic space.

Us gave LEØ a whole new music path to go down. It was our first real ‘electronic’ song, with the main focus on the drums. Josh had just made up a new drum/synth loop and left it on repeat so I could write to it, while him and Callum went out to buy food. 20 minutes later, they had sushi for me and I had lyrics for them.” – LEØ
