Video: The Chemical Brothers – C-h-e-m-i-c-a-l
The Chemical Brothers’ official video for their new track, “C-h-e-m-i-c-a-l,”can be seen below. The clip had its U.K. premiere earlier today on NME.com. Long-term collaborator Adam Smith and Marcus Lyall directed the video, which is influenced by vintage children’s television programming. Characters were filmed with a Kinnect Camera – equipment usually used for motion scanning in computer games – and then twisted into holographic, neon ravers. Adam Smith also directed the music video for “Galvanize” and the band’s film Don’t Think. He and Marcus Lyall were creative directors of the band’s “Born in The Echoes” world tour.
“C-h-e-m-i-c-a-l” premiered last week in the U.K. on BBC Radio 1 as Annie Mac’s “Hottest Record In The World” and received its first stateside spin from DJ Ben Harvey on SiriusXM’s BPM Channel.A fan favorite from the band’s recent live shows, it is now available for download on iTunes and streaming on Spotify.
