Callum Wright is joined full time by Candi Godbold for an all new D/R/U/G/S line up. They release electro-pop gem ‘Broken Bells’ from the New Born Love EP. Callum Wright’s atmospheric electronic beats paired with Candi Godbold’s stunningly ranged voice make for an exciting future of new releases and live shows.

‘Broken Bells’ is the first single featuring the new permanent coupling, an electro-pop gem showing off Candi’s beautifully pitched voice as she laments “it broke down, it broke down” over upbeat chimes and glitchy electronic drum beats. It’s the second single from the New Born Love EP released on 9 September on Code Silence Records, D/R/U/G/S’ own imprint.

Last single ‘New Born Love’ was on repeat on Lauren Lavern’s 6Music morning show, bigging up the “wonderful dreamy escapist delights from D/R/U/G/S” and heralding the “highly welcomed reemergence of ambient house music”.

D/R/U/G/S uniquely melodic house aesthetic has attracted the support of Zane Lowe, Nick Grimshaw, Huw Stephens as well as Lauren Laverne. As well, popular remixes for Lana Del Rey, Max Cooper and others make him a ubiquitous figure in clubs around the globe. He’s toured the world solidly for the last couple of years and has become a festival favourite in the UK and across Europe.

The all new D/R/U/G/S live show with Candi Godbold, is on the road in the UK at the end of Summer; they play live in Bristol (28 Aug, Start The Bus) with Ten Fé and Draper, London (2 Sept, The Waiting Room) with special guests and Manchester (31 Oct, Soup Kitchen) with Aussie duo Kllo.
