HONNE – Over Lover EP

London based duo HONNE have announced the release of their brand new EP ‘Over Lover.’ Featuring four new tracks the EP is out today via Tatemae Recordings/Atlantic Records.

From the rhythmic upbeat lead single ‘Loves The Jobs You Hate,’ written “about frustrations and limitations of modern life,” to the sultry ‘No Place Like Home’ – a song the pair wrote between London and Tokyo and features the effortless vocals of London newcomer Jones – James says “we feel this EP could be our most interesting and varied set of songs yet. We hope everyone gets as much out of listening to it as we did writing it.”

Earlier this year, the band released their third EP ‘Coastal Love’ via their own imprint Tatemae Recordings to critical acclaim with the title track’s video and the video for second offering ‘Top To Toe’. Previous EP releases include ‘Warm On A Cold Night’ (which reached #1 on Hype Machine and has over 1.6 million plays on Spotify) and ‘All in the Value.’ The latter features seductive song ‘The Night,’ which is currently on over 2 million plays on SoundCloud and 1.5 million views on YouTube.

Furthermore, HONNE have announced their first UK headline tour which will kick off in Leeds on 13 October before wrapping up at London’s Oval Space on 21 October. The tour will round off a great year on the live circuit including sold out London shows at The Laundry and Electrowerkz, a support slot on tour with Kwabs as well as a summer of festival performances at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, The Great Escape, Field Day and Latitude.
